Youth and Children

During our 10.30am Sunday Services we have three groups for children aged 0-11 years:
(For children aged 11+ please see our ‘Youth Work’ section)
Each group seeks to help the children explore the Christian faith for themselves. We learn stories from the Bible, play games, make crafts and more, with an emphasis on fun. Please see our section entitled  ‘Crèche’ for details about this group for 0-3 year olds.

bubblesBubbles is our group for children in Reception and Key Stage One (Ages 4-7). We currently meet alongside the Xstream group in the School.

xstreamXstream is our group for children in Key Stage Two (Ages 8-11). We currently meet alongside the Bubbles group in the School.

On the first Sunday of the month, the groups do not run as the children are part of the All-Age Service in the main church building.

On other Sundays, the children start the service with the rest of the church family in the main church building at 10.30am. When the leader indicates, parents take the children to the school for their groups (parents return to church once the children are registered). The children are collected from the school by parents at the end of the church service.

Groups do not run during the school holidays (including half term).

All our children’s leaders and helpers have current enhanced level DBS checks in place. Please see our ‘Safeguarding’ section for more information on our Safeguarding policies and personnel.

Welcome to Sunday Club!

This Spring 2020 term, Bubbles and XStream are looking at stories from the book of Daniel, so we will be learning from the same Bible passages as in the main service (but with more games and crafts!).

Please use the church website to see our current themes. If you have any queries, you are very welcome to get in touch with the team using the email address:
